ED ROMERO
Ed Romero, discovered at a very early age his passion for singing.
Growing in Argentina he started singing Spanish songs but soon became attracted to American
music and the vocalists of that era like Perry Como, Frankie Laine, Johnnie Ray and others.
But one day he heard Frank Sinatra and suddenly noticed there was something different about
his music. He didn't know it but he had "discovered" the Great American Songbook.
Shortly after he moved to California to pursue his dream. Today, he still includes some Spanish
and Latin songs in his act, he remains faithful to his first love -
The Great American Songbook
Ed says:
Many times a song brings us the memory of a moment we lived and the emotions we felt at that
time - My intention is to bring back those memories to everyone who hears my music.
Ed has performed in venues throughout Los Angeles such as Colombo's Restaurant and Jazz
Club, Madelaine Garden., The Urban Press Winery and many private events.
He also participated several times in Dr. Deb "Sleepless in Studio City" podcast and he is
presently performing at Edwin Mills by Equator in Pasadena on the first Saturday of every
month
